It also aims to help aspiring individuals who want to develop, enhance and build a career in the film, music and events management and marketing industry.

BACKGROUND OF UMMDCI

United Moviegoers and Musiclovers Dream Club, International (MMDCI) started as a Facebook page called Moviegoers Dream Club, International. It was born out of its founder’s dream to grow an organization wherein members would help one another reach their goals and dreams in life. By doing so, Ma. Gemma C. Navarro (founder) believes that to achieve her dreams, she should first help others achieve their dreams and find their purpose in life if not in this lifetime, the next. After watching the film “ What Dreams May Come”, starring the late Robin Williams and Annabella Sciorra, Gemma’s belief in life was changed radically. She realized a new wisdom and motto in life.

“ Never stop dreaming and reaching for your dreams in life while doing good deeds for ourselves and for others. For even if we were unable to achieve our dreams in this lifetime, our heaven will be the fulfillment of all our dreams in the next life ”.

The film also gives a message of hope that after death, if we are good, we are given a chance to return to life through reincarnation to live our dreams.  For example, if we were not able to achieve our dream to be a doctor in this lifetime but we were a responsible and loving parent, employee and citizen or whoever we are before we died, we will be a doctor in our next life. Moreover, whatever we also dream for our children, our country and our world, we will achieve if not in this lifetime, the next. As Napoleon Hill says,

“ What the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” 

Just like what our cellular phone did to our lives today, who would have thought that we will come to this time and age that a single gadget like a cellular phone will be a reality to connect us with people worldwide, to  entertain us through films and music, to take photos of our happy moments and to do business worldwide. Somebody conceived and believed many years back that it is achievable and look at your self now. You are reading this by simply using your cellphone or laptop with the power of the internet.

So let’s continue to dream big as if we will live forever. Let’s keep on reaching our dreams while doing good deeds for ourselves and for others believing that we are bound to succeed and be happy.

In 2023, MDCI  (Moviegoers Dream Club, International) expanded with the additional word “ Musiclovers” to broaden its membership base and following.  The more the merrier, the stronger we are and the happier we become towards the fulfillment of our dreams.

We cannot give happiness to the world if we don’t have it in ourselves and so let’s come together to learn and enjoy life by watching inspiring films, by  listening to soulful concerts, experiencing invigorating parties and other live events.  With a positive mindset and a happy disposition in life, one day our goals and dreams will be a reality if not in this lifetime, in the next, if not in the next, the next to forever because we have a happy God who never stops to give us unlimited chances until we have reach true happiness that is being one with His happiness. So let’s keep on dreaming as we help one another reach our goals and dreams as if we will live forever.
