About BPPHP.FUN
BPPHP.FUN is a special project of Big Perspective Productions. It was conceptualized by its founder Ma. Gemma C. Navarro during the pandemic at a time when many lost their jobs and most of the businesses closed. Poverty was at its peak rate worldwide as galloping cases of Covid 19 sicknesses, depression and death. These most difficult times led the founder to think of ways to come up with a new way of earning while enjoying life using her experience in film, music, cinema and events marketing. Envisioned to be a global membership website that aims to provide extra income to Filipinos especially the housewives and househusbands, the unemployed and working students through a dynamic marketing synergy with small and big businesses. It also offers event management and marketing services and plans to conduct workshops in talent development, filmmaking and film marketing.
In the near future, it dares to produce and market films, concerts and awards nights, provide acting, singing, dancing and filmmaking workshops to aspiring Filipino dreamers and open a talent management company.
HISTORY OF BIG PERSPECTIVE PRODUCTIONS
Big Perspective Productions began as a dream in the mind and heart of its founder, Ma. Gemma C. Navarro. The seed of this dream was planted in January 2007, after she attended the Hollywood Film Institute’s Film School, a two-day seminar on filmmaking and film marketing led by America’s top film instructor, Mr. Dov Simens, and organized by Think Creative, Inc. Drawing from her educational background in Mass Communication, Film Theory, and Film Writing, as well as her experiences in film and music marketing, cinema operations, and events, Gemma turned her vision into reality. In April 2008, Big Perspective Productions was established as a sole proprietorship, providing cost-effective event management and marketing services.
Over the years, the company experienced both successes and challenges. It paused during the pandemic, but has since re-emerged with renewed passion, ready to serve clients and pursue its long-term goal of becoming a recognized film production outfit and concert producer.
The BPPHP Project—short for Be Positive-minded, Productive, and Happy Philippines—was born in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2020 to 2023, the Philippines, like the rest of the world, struggled with multiple waves of infections, strict lockdowns, and economic hardships. By April 2025, the country had recorded over 4.1 million cases and nearly 67,000 deaths. Alongside the physical toll, the pandemic left deep mental, emotional, and social scars. Anxiety and depression rates surged by 25% worldwide, fueled by loss, loneliness, unemployment, and poverty.
It was during this period of uncertainty that Gemma envisioned BPPHP as a way to help Filipinos not just survive, but thrive. Her passion for producing her own screenplay, “The Purpose”, kept her motivated and focused on building a project that could uplift lives. Reinforced by a quote she encountered online—
“The purpose of life is to be happy and to make others happy.” – Dalai Lama XIV & Ganesh Gowtham
—her vision transformed into a movement.
Today, the BPPHP Movement stands as a call to action. It invites Filipinos to dream big, stay resilient, and work together to achieve a positive-minded, productive, poverty-free, and happy Philippines. Through film, music, and thematic events, BPPHP aims to create opportunities for learning, earning, and growing—while celebrating life with joy and purpose.
Let’s unite for a brighter tomorrow.
Dreams don’t work unless you do.
